Support for ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban at Record Low, Yet One Candidate Continues to Call for One
A new Gallup poll shows that support for a ban on so-called “assault weapons” just hit a record low of 36 percent, with a clear majority (61 percent) of Americans opposing an outright ban -- the highest percent of opposition ever recorded.
